Who we are
Normanby Physiotherapy was opened at Normanby Street, Brighton on the 27th November 1992. Over the last 20 years the practice has steadily grown and today we have practices in Brighton and Hampton and offer physiotherapy services to both Linacre Private Hospital and Cabrini Hosptial Brighton.
Our practice offers expert treatment for a wide spectrum of muscular and joint problems, including musculoskeletal, sports injuries and post operative rehabilitation. We pride ourselves in offering our clients the highest standard of physiotherapy care and maintaining a close relationship with leading medical specialists in the Bayside and surrounding areas.

Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, cheque, Mastercard or Visa.
For patients that are members of private health insurance schemes that participate in the HICAPS program, we are happy to claim your rebate directly from your health fund.

Joanna Laurence
Jo has been with the practice for over 10 years having become director of Normanby Physiotherapy in 2007.She has extensive experience in orthopaedic and musculoskeltal physiotherapy including post surgical rehabilitation, Pilates and hydrotherapy. Jo has a keen interest in the shoulder attending international shoulder meetings in New York and Edinburgh.Helen Archer
Helen has been with our practice for over 12 years. She has extensive experience in Orthopaedics and has a post graduate diploma in Manipulative Therapy. Her special areas of interest include the spine, shoulder and feet. Helen has many years of active involvement in local sports clubs including football and basketball, assisting with first aid, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.Tracy Gregson
Tracy graduated from her Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 1988 followed by a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy in 1996. Tracy has worked in Sports Medicine for most of the past 22 years, but has also specialised in physiotherapy on the Jaw as well as Orthopaedic/post surgical rehabilitation.Shea Steinkellner
Shea graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Working in both Australia and the UK, Shea has experience in a range of areas. Shea has a keen interest in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and sports physiotherapy.Georgia Branson
Georgia is an experienced Physiotherapist having work with the team at Normanby Physiotherapy for over 12 years. She has extensive knowledge of inpatient care in all areas of orthopaedics, cardiorespiratory and neurology. She also has an interest in Hydrotherapy and carries out home visits as needed when referred to the practice. Her special interest lies in establishing safety in care and mobility with patients following their surgery, beginning exercise programmes and ensuring they have a firm understanding of their expectations going into rehabilitation.
